Works perfectly. I was thinking about drilling into my new bike to install right screws for standard water bottle holders, but this is very sturdy, stable. The rubber thing makes it flexible, but very tight. I like it a lot.

This bottle cage took less then a minute to install and it stayed in place. The rubber stopper prevented the cage from slipping on the aluminum bike frame. I pulled velcro fastener for a tight fit. I was able to insert a bottle of water into the cage and remove it. The cage didn’t move.
