Reviews
When its really cold I wear this under a Stove Pipe hat, and I can peel one or the other off it is warms up. When its raining I wear this under my helmet with a Goretex water proof helmet cover keeping my head warm and dry. In spring when its crisp and I need more than a doo rag or cap I wear this under my helmet and it keeps my ears warm Merino wool rules. Just outstanding piece of equipment.
Questions
Q – Will this work in winter as a liner for a bald guy (friend of mine) underneath a winter scone warmer? If not, what do you recommend please?
A – The Stavanger is a great option as a liner (for your friend). Its wool construction makes it breathable, so it can add insulation underneath another cap without trapping moisture.
